The Venice Film Festival 2026 has begun, delivering the dazzling diamond jewelry we’ve grown to anticipate from the week-long, ultra-glamorous red carpet event since its inception in 1932. Cinema’s most beloved actors and filmmakers descended upon the Italian City of Canals to celebrate the most exciting projects of 2026, decked out in jaw-dropping jewels.
This year, actress and director Maggie Gyllenhaal will preside over the main competition jury, which includes Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, composer Daniel Blumberg, French filmmaker Xavier Giannoli, Afghan filmmaker Shahrbanoo Sadat, and Hong Kong filmmaker Johnnie To.

Some of Hollywood’s brightest stars are heading to Venice, Italy, to light up the red carpet. On opening night, George Clooney received the honorary Golden Lion lifetime achievement award, with his perfectly posh wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, at his side. The British actress and singer amped up the glamour with earrings from the Haute Joaillerie collection, including 19.2 carats of pear-modified brilliant-cut yellow colored diamonds, 13.72 carats of pear-shaped diamonds, and 0.36 carats of round-shaped diamonds set in 18-karat white gold.
She added an 8.58-carat diamond ring, along with one featuring 5.58 carats of Asscher-cut diamonds, both set in 18-karat white gold from the L’Heure Du Diamant collection. The “Good Looking” singer completed her look with two rings from the Ice Cube collection featuring diamonds and set in 18-karat white gold.

Model Kendall Jenner hit the red carpet at Sala Grande in a classic embroidered champagne-colored vintage Giorgio Armani dress from the Fall/ Winter 1995 ready-to-wear collection with simple but eye-catching Briony Raymond Shadow 8-carat cushion-cut diamond drop earrings, crafted in 18-karat yellow gold for the Wild Horse Nine premiere.

Styled by Austen Turner, Chase Sui Wonders hit the red carpet at the Sala Grande for the Ink screening and opening red carpet, wearing a Giorgio Armani dress and rings, including a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. Ailsa aquamarine ring and a Bird on a Rock Wings ring. She inventively added the classic Bird on a Rock brooch with a diamond of over 13 carats, diamonds, and a pink sapphire pinned to ribbon around her neck, like Zoey Deutch and Taylor Russell have done before her.
